Ode to Failures
What do you mean you don’t know what to do? That you tried everything?
When we are young we try everything. We throw stuff around and test gravity.
We express our emotions and see what is allowed in our environment.
Depending on what we learned from our failures we may avoid every failure as an adult.
We need to have a safe job, we need to behave, we need…, we need…
We learned to not learn anymore … but failures are seeds of wisdom.
What once was true may now is false.
Maybe you were exploited and not save, but maybe you are now.
Failures are the path to restructuring our reality, they allow us to adapt to changes.
Do you want to repeat mistakes of other people
or see yourself acting together with this reality?
If you never allow yourself to make mistakes
your fears will become tales, legends, stories of the past
engrained into your core, making you dead on the inside before you die on the outside
Failures are my way to salvation from fear because fear is an experience of a room full of potential.
Failures are about taking a risk and changing a room of potential to a room of structure, of predictability.
Therefore, failures are a tool to take control over the unknown.
Failures show that you are alive.
Failures can feel so good, once you allow yourself to celebrate them.
You want to become fearless? Make mistakes!
“Brief” posts are much shorter posts and don’t try to explain every thought but try to paint a picture.
They are statements and open questions to the reader and not discussions.
“Brief” is the German word for “letter” and English word for “short”. If you speak it out loud, you realise it sound phonetically identical to “breathe”. So, take these “Brief” posts as something to consume, reflect and relax. As a distraction from your daily life.
This is going to be short but important. Have you ever wondered what you would do if you win the lottery or did you dismiss . . .
